Grey whale sneaks up on surfers You never know what lurks beneath the ocean’s surface — or what massive sea creature may be under your surfboard. A Dana Point teenager captured a rare moment when a curious young gray whale swam under a group of unsuspecting surfers at Doheny State Beach while they were waiting for waves near the rock jetty at a spot known as Boneyards. the whale wandered about 150 yards offshore toward surfers who were focused on the horizon waiting for the next waves to show. The whale stayed there for a while and finally left the area and went back to where people wouldn’t disturb it Number 14. Man saves dolphin While fishing on the beach of Criccieth in Wales, Rich Wilcock’s dog, Leia, barked at him and wanted him to come to her. At first, he thought it was a fish, and soon realized Leia had found a beached baby dolphin. Rich managed to gently lift the juvenile harbor and put it back out to sea. Rich stayed there for a while to make sure he didn’t come back. Such a good human being Number 13. Sand artist

For the last 15 years, Long has made his living building sandcastles. He has created sculptures for clients such as Ringling Brothers, Nickelodeon, and many retail windows and events, such as the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk every year. What a fun job It must be, but it isn’t easy. Matt has also created a sand sculpture of a 10 Feet tall palace Number 12. Globster Local people flocked to the beach in the town of San Antonio, Philippines, when a greyish white blob washed ashore and many posed to take photos with the “creature”. Though authorities suspected the carcass is simply the decomposed body of a whale, local people expressed their shock at the arrival of such an unusual object. The majority of marine mammals that die at sea do not wash up on beaches. But after a recent 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit the island nation just a few days before this, a number of these hairy carcasses washed ashore around the world, likely surfaced by storm surges caused by the shaking. In February 2017 another mysterious “hairy” blob washed up on the shore of Dinagat Island, raising speculation about its origins. https://youtu.be/49hOijao3Mc https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2017/02/blob-globster-whale-philippines/ Number 11. example of why we say 'When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!'". You better listen to weathermen next time it rains.Number 10. Sam Corlis captured the video that shows what looks like a large rattlesnake on a beach near the northeast end of Ocracoke Island. The snake was swimming directly into the ocean, keeping its head above water and making it through the waves as it continued out to sea. Corlis said luckily, there was no one else on the beach when she saw the snake. This wasn’t the first time a snake was spotted on the beach as it has happened before too.
